Thanksgiving is this week, and besides food and family time that means...Black Friday is upon us. While many see Black Friday as a yearly post-Thanksgiving tradition, the day of shopping mania has massive downsides for people & the environment.
Why we should skip Black Friday:
- 744 million holiday cards
- 8,000 tons of wrapping paper
...and most of it is not reused.
